Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 12 billion over two tranches on Monday, 20 April.
The first auction, valued at EGP 5 billion, will mature in two years on 21 April 2028, according to official data.
The second offering stood at EGP 7 billion, holding a three-year maturity period until 31 March 2029.
With a tenor of three years until 21 April 2029, the CBE issued a floating-rate T-bond at EGP 3 billion.
